In the following text, you will learn how to quickly merge your desired accounts into an importable CSV file.
-
A CSV is a file format in which a table or database - e.g. an Excel file - is displayed in a reformatted form. By formatting the data as CSV, they can be imported very easily by different programs.
-
In principle, there are two ways to get an importable CSV:
It is common for the domains you want to import into a target audience and the corresponding metadata to already exist in a database. Usually you can simply export the corresponding data - in this case domains and meta information - via the corresponding software. The corresponding option can often be found where the corresponding data or lists can be found.
Simply export the desired data in CSV format.
If the corresponding data are not available anywhere yet, you can also create the CSV yourself.
Simply generate an Excel sheet and save it as CSV.
-
If you have several formats available, select e.g. "CSV UTF-8". If the format is not available to you, simply select another one and see if the import works.
-
Your CSV file must at least contain the account domain ( e.g. www.mailtastic.com ).
In addition to the account domain, your CSV can in principle contain an unlimited number of other metadata for this domain, which you can then easily match to the following Mailtastic data fields during the import process using drag and drop:
Company, Location, Custom 1, Custom 2, Custom 3
The titles of the columns can be selected individually.
Simply save the finished Excel document as CSV to import it.
